I make bespoke hand-made kitchens. These are time-consuming things to make. I have not invested in the advertising cost to compete with the specialist kitchen companies, but I would consider a CIDA Wood Design kitchen to be a worthy investment
and one that would probably be considered good value for a bespoke kitchen. I have worked on kitchen projects that have ranged from simply replacing the cupboard doors and worktops to huge bespoke installations with multiple integrated fittings, islands, and larders. I am happy to discuss any project with view to providing a quote and timescale for the work.
My kitchens are produced with solid cabinets made from veneered MDF or plywood. The faces, shelves, doors and all panels are made from solid wood. I have made kitchens from Cherry, Walnut, Oak, Douglas Fir and Painted Tulipwood. The drawers are all mounted on soft-close runners, the doors hung on die cast metal hinges.
I make wooden kitchen worktops – these are generally wide stave planks that extend the length of the worktop (up to 3m). These are very different from the multiple block type worktops that are usually sold as wooden worktops. These are supplied treated with a coat of Osmo Wood Protector, and three coats of Osmo Top Oil and spare oil can be supplied for maintenance purposes.
CIDA are only able to offer fitted furniture and kitchen solutions to the South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and West Yorkshire area – due to the time and distance required for installation.
CIDA Wood Design Limited will install within the South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and West Yorkshire postcodes. Outside of this area I can deliver but I would be unable to fit. I will always advise and will discuss any issues with your installer, however, you would need to find a local builder or carpenter who is able to carry out the installation.
Delivery and Installation are charged separately and you will be advised on the cost at the time of discussing your project.
